Tara Kauffman and Kelly Horner, representatives of the Guthrie Memorial Library, hold a donation check received from nine members of the Hanover Lions Club. The donation is earmarked for the Children's Library programs and was generated through the TAG DAYS project. Project Chair, Matt Wootton, is behind Tara and Kelly. With the generous support from the Hanover community, the Hanover Lions Club partnered with local high school student service organizations and collected over $3100 in donations at three high school football games, at the Children's Library department, and the Hanover Market House.

January 14 ~ Dist. Governor Galen Burkholder Visits
Several members of the Hanover Lions Club spent over 100 hours refurbishing the 35 picnic tables located in the four pavilions. Each table was stripped of staples, tape, and tacks and reinforced where needed before being scrubbed clean and then stained. Lions Tom Staub, Gerry DeGroft, Tom Krout, Steve Rutters, and John Zinn are pictured above. Other Lions helping during the project were Todd Boller and John Helfrick.
