The Lions Club of Hanover met recently and entertained two local military veteran-related service groups. Christy Lucas of Roots for Boots and Christine Waltz from For The Love of a Veteran, along with her son, Brandon, provided the club with updates with what is happening within each of the organizations during the past year. Both groups received a club donation from President John Zinn to assist with supporting their local efforts with offering valuable services to military veterans and their families.

2025 Annual Lions Club Chicken BBQ ~ May 10, 2025
Since at least the 1960s, the Lions Club Annual Chicken BBQ project has generated financial support for feeding the hungry and assisting others in need.
We Support Beacon Lodge

The Lions have had a busy fall season leading right into winter. From completing a hugely successful TAG DAY campaign to support the Guthrie Memorial Children's Library Program, to creating 50 Jared Box gifts that went to the pediatric department at Wellspan Hospital, to contributing to the crisis grief therapy work done at Olivia's House, decorating the square, selling oranges and grapfruits, and giving out candy at the Christmas Parade that welcomed Santa to town!!!
