Lions Support the Environment
The Hanover Lions Club along with five other clubs participated in a Zone 1A Environmental Service project to plant trees on the north side of Abbottstown. This project was in associated with the Alliance For The Chesapeake Bay organization and geared toward improving the regional watershed that feeds the Chesapeake Bay. Pictured are the volunteers who planted trees and help to serve the workers with a breakfast at Rosie's Restaurant.
The Hanover Lions Club President Matt Wootton recently provided a club donation to Suzanne Gamber with the Friends of Codorus Group.
WHAT IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER FOR THE CLUB?
We will be conducting vision screenings the week of May 6 at the four Southwestern Elementary schools.
We are in preparations for our May 11 Chicken BBQ event. Meal Tickets Now Available .
